The Centre For Digestive Health recently teamed up with Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church to help families in the Parkgate and Kemp Road area prepare for the new school year.
Free backpacks and school supplies were handed out to children grades six and under. Dozens of children received much-needed items to make the back-to-school transition easier.
Additionally, the medical staff from The Centre For Digestive Health offered free health checks and screenings to adults.
The community event took place on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the church and was spearheaded by church member Dr. Flloyd Carter, a gastroenterologist at The Centre For Digestive Health.
